About Mark McCaig

Born and raised in the Houston area, Mark McCaig has spent his entire adult life as an active volunteer in the conservative grassroots. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a business degree, Mark worked on the district staff of a local Republican congressman. A graduate of South Texas College of Law in Houston, Mark became one of the youngest members ever elected to serve on the State Republican Executive Committee while he was in law school.

In 2016, Mark had the honor to serve as a delegate to the Republican National Convention. In addition to volunteering for conservative causes and candidates up and down the ballot, Mark currently serves as an active precinct chairman in the Harris County Republican Party.

Professionally, Mark works as an attorney, where he primarily assists local businesses in navigating the regulatory burdens imposed by government. He has also served as a volunteer attorney with the Harris County Republican Party’s election day legal team.

Mark and his wife, Amy, live in northwest Harris County with their rescue pup, Josie, and attend The Foundry Church in Jersey Village.
